WHALE WATCHING Whale Watching Tours   Our daily scheduled Whale Watching trips run April through September, at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  During peak season,  additional departure time at 6:30 pm. All scheduled trips are 3 - 4  hours in duration. Our Saturday scheduled Eco- Tours will start February 23 and will run till March 31 @ 1pm Our Harbour tours run at 7:00 pm Fri. and Sat. with a 1 -2 hr duration - Visit Race Rocks, Eagles Nests and more... KAYAKING   Half or full day guided kayaking tours are available in the Sooke Basin. More experienced kayakers may choose to explore the waters on their own with rental kayaks. For further information, contact Rush Adventures at 642-2159.

SWIMMING   During the summer months, the Sooke Potholes, owned by Land Conservancy, offers fresh water river swimming opportunities. The Park also offers spectacular hiking trails, and is accessible by the Galloping Goose Trail on bike or on foot. Car access is also available, parking (at $ 2.00 per day) is limited, and is offered only on the first 1 km of the 5 km park road. Sooke SEAPARC Swimming Pool also offers an excellent swimming venue.
