Sooke Ocean Resort Fishing Charters
Luxury vacation rental accommodation Sooke, BC, Southern Vancouver Island fishing charters

Sooke offers a mild climate, and year round salmon fishing.

Sooke experiences a large migration of large Chinook and King Salmon, starting in early May

and continuing through September. There are great fishing opportunities for trophy salmon

(10 - 60 lbs) during these months. Halibut fishing is done mostly in the summer months

on the world famous SWIFTSURE BANK, and during the early spring off the

waters of Sooke.  We take pride in meeting the highest safety standards  and hiring only

the best fishing instructors in the industry.

As our guests know, the instructor's job is to teach the basics of fishing and safety on the water, as well as instruction in location,  depth,  and speed, bait preparation, hooking and then landing fish.

Our instructors go beyond the basics to ensure that everyone has an incredible time on the water and comes away with some new knowledge about fishing and the history of the area.

September through November offers a migration of Coho, or

Silver Salmon who are beginning to make their way home to

their spawning rivers. Our waters provide excellent Coho fishing

during these months. Through the winter months, the Winter

Springs invade the area to feed. This can provide some

very entertaining fishing. Winter Springs weigh between

6 - 20 lbs, excellent eating and a great fighting fish!

Our prices depend on the size of boat, length of trip and time of year.

Our boats  range in size from 21.5 ft to 28 feet, and can accommodate 1 to 6 passengers

in addition to your fish master (guide)
